Guest guest
Hi Jolene, It isn't any better than IE, but it's very, very similar; it costs a bit of money (85. a month for three months to take their ecourse). I like it but not more than IE, but they are in Britain and I confess I enjoy the accent when I hear their podcasts, lol! It is Beyond chocolate, developed by Sophie and Audrey Boss, but don't be fooled by the name; they advocate legalizing all foods, just like IE and they do eat chocolate!! I joined because as much as I love the message board, I also love the forum setup of BC. I didn't think about the fact that there's a five hr time difference, so if I post at 10pm, their time is 3am and they're all, hopefully, fast asleep, so that affects the rate of response, but the people are like here, really nice and kind and supportive. They modeled the approach after Geneen Roth's approach. My favs are IE and Overcoming Overeating just because they aren't as new to me and of course I understand the foods talked about. I had no idea what bangers and mash was til I looked it up! (it's sausage and mashed potatoes). They eat caramel digestives; not a clue what that is! I had to look up marmite and quality street also, lol. Quality street is actually made in Great Britain by Nestle and apparently their chocolate is made with more cream than ours and so tastes better :.) Guest guest
Hi Group, I googled Beyond Chocolate and here's a link to a short video of the the authors talking about their approach (similar to IE and Geneen Roth's ) http://www.meettheauthor.co.uk/bookbites/1217.html Cute. I also liked that one of them ate a piece of chocolate candy/cookie while they were talking. She looked liked she enjoyed it. > > Hi Jolene, > It isn't any better than IE, but it's very, very similar; it costs a bit of money (85. a month for three months to take their ecourse).
