Guest guest
Sandy, I stopped taking the Armour because I have a lot of medical problems going on... the worst seems to be fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. I didn't have a doctor backing me up with the Armour and got nervous if something happened that I wouldn't have anyone to turn to. I think subconsciously I wanted that " hypo " diagnosis. I finally got it. I've known for years that I was hypo just by my symptoms, but this is the first time a doc has acknowldged it. ly, I'm just so confused at this point. Guest guest
Tigger, there are so many of us that were denied thyroid treatment by our docs, instead we were diagnosed with fibromyalgia and/or chronic fatigue syndrome. That is why a lot of us are self-treating with armour thyroid because WE KNOW that this is a mis-diagnosis. Believe me, once you get enough armour into your system you will not have fibro or cfs (probably because you never did). All of these symptoms are also symptoms of hypo. You need to read up on this. I would suggest reading Dr Lam and Dr Lowe www.drlowe.com www.drlam.com Lynda(in the UK) Re: The time has come/Sandy Sandy, I stopped taking the Armour because I have a lot of medical problems going on... the worst seems to be fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. Guest guest
Fibromyalgia + Chronic Fatigue Syndrome = Undiagnosed hypothyroidism, same diagnosis. The first two are symptoms, not diseases to themselves. What's the controversy, I don't know, because all people who were diagnosed with the first two, when finally successfully treated for hypo, the other two went away. I used to take the doc's word for it all too.
