,

I think it is just a soak with no soap. Even better if you can get

a chlorine filter on your shower head and route a hose down to fill

the tub. Mine play with all sorts of action figures while soaking.

We do use shampoo, but no soap for skin. The water is pretty

cleansing really.

I think more than 3 times a week is maybe too hard on them.

Best wishes,

I usually wash them with soap and rinse them with the shower if

they are really dirty. Then I fill up the tub and put the epsom salts

in.

We let our take a nice bath every night with the epsom salt. I

never thought that every night might be too much. I'll have to look

into that. As far as soap - we don't. Too many things in commercial

soap (food coloring, perfumes, mercury, etc) and the natural soaps

cost way too much. He soaks away the day's grime. We shampoo about

once a week (very short hair for the summer!). Toys work wonders for

bath things. So do washcloths (101 uses in the mind of a child).

If it's not a safety issue, disposable hand gloves have great appeal

in the tub. As you said 101... ways to use!

Kathy,

Our doctor has recommend the Epsom salt bath daily if possible. Do

you know what I would be looking for that would indicate this might be

too much?

Thank you all, Kathy, Jody, and Helen, for your quick answers to my

question!
