Guest guest Posted August 15, 2001 Report Share Posted August 15, 2001 Dear , Hi dear welcome to the group, I am and also have Pancreatis, they tell me here also that it is a rare disease but as you can tell by the members in our group it is hard to believe, I am so sorry to hear about , I feel the worse for the kids in this group no one should have to suffer with this disease and kids dang it is hard.. But I have had 6 ERCP's and I was lucky and never had an attack from them that is the worse of them is when the cause an attack, but other wise they are really ok, they put you out and don't remember anything, with me I would go in and they put the iv in and give me something to relax me then they take me down to the room and they do an xray set me up lay me down spray my thoat to numb it and that is the last that I remember till they are telling me how the test went, I know there are some that can remember some of that but I never do, I did wake up during 2 of them but they just put me back out and that was that, I don't know if that helped or not , but I was able to go home after all but one of them and that was only cuz I had a temp so they keep me a day to make sure of what was going on and then I got to go home.. if I didn't answer you Questions just let me know and I would be happy to try ... good luck and keep us informed on how he is doing... you have found a great group they have helped me through so much I would be lost without these wonderful people... hugs and kisses from Michigan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
