Guest guest
I have a few questions as I know everyone does....but, Does anyone know if there is an updated page about Carnie 's Progress? Any Pics? and I am insured but have been seeing a Nurse Practitioner....RX's are written by a doctor in house...so his name is on my file but I have never met him face to face....Should I go see her about the MGP or should I make an appointment to discuss it with him? Dr. R's manual says we must have a close working relationship with our doctor....have that with (my nurse practitioner) but not with the DR. What would be considered " jumping the gun " ? Should I go ahead and fill out the patient info form online....even though I haven't discussed this issue with my NP yet? We have discussed diet in the past...and factually she put me on the diabetic diet at our last visit together....no surprise, I failed. So...the " weight " issue is " on file " so to speak. How much in advance should things like the pap spear, EKG, etc...be done? I have not had those done in FOREVER....and I can get them done now with the new insurance coverage....but I would hate to get it done too quickly only to find that I have a long drawn out fight with my ins. carrier. Do we HAVE to stay in Durham the full seven days? Since we manage a farm, we will only get a weeks paid vacation....in a year (January 01)...so leaving for any length of time will be iffy but I can cash in on " medical leave " ....however...it is only FIVE days. I guess I'll stop there.....too many questions....and I'm overly anxious. Thanks in advance to all who read and reply.
