Thank you Eva and ,

Both of you have helped me tremedously! I've been using the McKenna method

which says, " if you even think you are full, stop. " Which is the same as you

are suggesting. It does work. Thank you both for clearing up the drinks

question.

I'm also having trouble deciding about desserts. Being allowed to eat anything I

want would mean having dessert. However, I'm not sure how I work that in. I

can't eat a meal and be satisfied and then eat dessert because by that time I am

satisfied and therefore should not eat anymore. It doesn't seem right to just

eat a dessert when I'm hungry because I feel like I would be eating a lot of

dessert before I would be satisfied, and then be hungry again soon after that.

ly, it just doesn't sound healthy either. (this smacks of dieting

mentality!) I don't want to feel that I

can't have dessert either because that will just cause me to crave it. I

have techniques to help me understand and deal with cravings without hunger, but

using the idea that I can eat anything I want means not ruling out things like

chocolate and lovely desserts. I guess what I'm saying is, help!...again. :)

Thank you for your help. I'm so glad to have people around who understand what

I'm dealing with. :)

Thanks and Abby,

I'm feeling new confidence with all of you helping me! :)

You are so right , today I wanted a fresh green salad for supper. It was

so satisfying, and I used real salad dressing not watery FF dressing or three

sprays of dressing from a pump sprayer. It feels so good to eat real food again.

Thanks again, :)

Kath
