Guest guest
I feel your frustration - I'm still harping weekly to my mother, both sisters, and two nephews to please be tested, please. Nada happens. Jen R. -- I get so furious with doctors! I was just talking with a friend of mine. This poor gal has been trying to get pregnant for over 5 years! I asked her if she had her thyroid tested.. well yes, but it was " normal " ... Ok what is normal? She said her TSH was 4.6 GGGGRRRRRRRR That was the only one she knew anything about. I suggested this list, but who knows, some people just don;t realize their " great " doctors have not got a clue when it comes to thyroid. This doc is obviously using the old standards to test by, and condemning this person and who knows how many others to childlessness. Not to mention the other fine things that happen when this disease progresses without treatment. *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Guest guest
That is a shame . I find it terribly insulting that any dr can't look at those ranges and ask himself or herself: how can a range that huge be normal? My hubby's first wife couldn't get pregnant, and almost didn't get pregnant with their only son. She now is diagnosed as Fibromyalgia, and never had anymore kids, but would have loved to, and also suffers with Diabetes, depression, among other things. I have yet to get in touch with her, but I hope hubby brings home her phone # as I'd love to hear what brought all this on. She's now had to retire from a wonderful job, and is not getting much medical help but has much pain and suffering with her limitations. I'd love to get my hands on her and ask how this all came about. It certainly sounds familiar doesn't it? SandyE~Houston I get so furious with doctors! I was just talking with a friend of mine. Guest guest
Yeah...sounds very much like endocrine imbalances gone unchecked, diagnosed or treated propergly, if at all. What a shame!
