It was unfamiliar territory. -- about me Well, my internal med doc called and told me he got the results of my endoscopy and wanted to see me. My appt was Friday and he said I have an inflamed stomach lining, gastritis and he very concerned about the abdominal swelling. Today I was scheduled for an ultrasound of my gall bladder and when she started, I told ehr I was very sensitive and showed her the "area" where it's hard and painful. She said she was only doing up around my gall bladder. OK. Well, she did the gall bladder but apparently she saw something else because she ended up doing the entire painful area before she was finished taking pictures. She wouldn't say anything other than "check with your doctor in a few days" (I know they can't say anything else) so now I wait again. We waited 3 hours today for to see her gyn for her pre-op check. He was running late so we had to leave because she had to work tonight. I was able to sign the papers though so she goes back tomorrow to try again and I won't have to go. She's officially a senior now, finishing this year with all A's and B's. Man, how time flies! Whew. Today was a whirlwind!
