Guest guest
Hello to Everyone, I have not done much with my email in the past week, infact there are over 700 emails to go,I cant possibly get through all of them today. I did want to say that I really appreciated everyone who understood and responded to my rock bottom feelings of last week, although i would like to thank everyone personally i havent made it through all the mail Today I went to South San Francisco to see the nutrtionist and dr stiles. I was shocked to find that i have lost 15 pounds since my orientation on Oct 26, infact i was so sure the scale was wrong, Beth offered to weigh me on another one down the all in dr stiles area and dang, there it was again..................amazing to me. After my chatting with Beth I went to dr stiles ( long wait) but oh so worth the wait. When they took my blood pressure it was the lowest it has been in years like 124 over 78, gotta love that. ! Then i met Dr stiles she seemed pleasant but matter of fact. She poised the question again that she had at the orientation, " why all this weight?" I am still having a problem answering that.. She says it is my holiday homework............. What blew me away was she said my EKG was fine, my labwork was good and that I didnt need to loose anymore weight unless i wanted to ,I was wondering if i should pinch myself to see if i was dreaming. then she said if you are ready to do surgery, we have openings all the time and i could fill a spot and i guess i could be fast tracked, I was in shock again............she said Jan if i wanted, i opted to pick Feb because of work and someone being gone at work the month of Jan. The only thing that was missing was a sleep study that no one ever seems to know where it is, and that was done back in June............I can not belive how much progress i made in one day. I was begrudging go ing there because i was angry about the worry on my ekg and having to drive to richmond to take bart to get to south san francisco, paranoid i would miss my stop and end up at the airport, but god has truly blessed me again and it is thankgiving and thus thanks to all of you too......................... colleen 283 then 275 and now 260 YES !
