Hi G.....

good luck with your upcoming surgery. So, does Kaiser do reconstructive surgery ? Does that include tummy tucks, etc? I keep wondering how much excess skin I'll have once the pounds come off...

Happy Thanksgiving!

reconstructive surgery update II

Hello everyone:

I get a new chest for Christmas! I'm having

the revision work done

to complete my male breast reduction.

My second and last reconstructive surgery will be

on 12/15/04.

Thanks to all of you for your support. I've

got a lot to post, but

just haven't had time, and I need to process the

emotion of it all--

both good and bad.

But I've been reading all your posts. Also,

I'll be speaking at the

12/1/04 pre-op meeting at Richmond after my

appointment with Dr.

Fisher.

Have a great Thanksgiving everyone. I have

so much in my life for

which I have deep gratitude. Life continues

to amaze me with its

beauty despite all the sorrow in the world.

Hopefully I can bring

some joy to someone who needs it this holiday season.

I'm so looking forward to buying toys for kids who

have little this

Holiday Season. And I'm looking forward to

feeding the hungry this

Thursday. I'm so blessed!

Hi Gemello,

What a great Christmas present! Just in case I don't get a chance to

post closer to your surgery - I am putting your surgery date in my

calendar and, for sure, I'll have you in my thoughts and prayers.

I wish that I could have attended the meeting on Dec. 1 - that was my

surgery anniversary and it would have been great to celebrate by hearing

you speak. But, I was off playing at the San Diego Wild Animal Park

that day . . . so I can't complain.

Your generosity inspires me. I'm going to do some toy shopping on my

way to the Fremont Support Group this evening. My friends' kids are

well provided for . . . but adding a little joy to the life of a kid in

need seems the very least I can do.

All the best,

Kay
