Guest guest
welcome aboard friend. You are among a good group of people in this egroup. Please remember that you are in charge of your treatment. If you are not comfortable with your docs Dx then seek different medical advice. I have been fortunate in my nsg saying that even with my acm being at 8mm, the surgery was up to me. Talk to your family and/or friends about the pros and cons of delaying surgery. If surgery is what you are hoping for, then seek a doc who is willing to think of how this is affecting you psycho-socially, (how its affecting you psychologically and socially). Don't be content because the treatment suggested is by a " doctor " . The doc is not the one who will live with your daily pain and symptoms. it is a difficult decision on whether surgery is right for you and your life, or to seek out an alternative treatment. Do a lot of soul searching, get good advice from friends and family, and seek out good info regarding your ACM on making a intellegent decision. Find a good doc that will help with your pain management so that you can make a intellegent, logical deicision as opposed to making an emotional, quick decision (because you want the pain to end). My prayers are with you and your family, have a better than average day, Le __________________________________________________
