PLUS I did a saliva test and found out I had elevated cortisol...so I wasn't really sure what to do. When I stopped it..I really couldn't tell a difference...so I don't really know if I needed it or not...or if it really did help for a while. I take 2 grains around 6:30 or 7:00 in the morning. 2 grains around lunch time...either 12 or 1 and then 1/2 grain around 8:00. I added that 1/2 at night because I was having pain in my legs and feet and still having some dry skin. Taking that additional 1/2 grain eliminated those lingering hypo symptoms. Guest guest
Hi . Just wandering if you are on any meds for adrenal support at the same time as you are on armour? Also, what time of the day are you taking 4.5 grains of armour, do yuo split it? I am thinking of switching to armour from SR t3. Thanks, > In a message dated 10/28/2004 1:40:33 PM Eastern Standard Time, > alison.ashwell@w... writes: > > > > > i was wondering at what dose and levels of freet3 and freet4 people > > usually ended up with a suprressed TSH? > > > > I think that may be a very individualized thing..with no set dose one can > point too. I was able to up my Armour with no problems. I don't remember exactly how I upped but mostly it was 1/2 grain to begin with....and I went up 1/2 grain every time I started crashing again...which was probably aboout every 3 weeks. When I reached the 3 grain mark, I stayed there for about a month. And then went up again 1/2 grain about every three weeks. That's just an estimate. But by six months, I was on 4 1/2 grains. cindi
Guest guest
Hi . Thanks for your response. I have low adrenals and that is why i am on cortef now. I can not take thyroid meds without it. Did you have any intolerance issues with thyroid meds before trying Delta? Also, how long did it take you to reach the dosage of 4.5 grains daily? Thanks again, > In a message dated 10/28/2004 4:05:06 PM Eastern Standard Time, > alex_simkin3@y... writes: > > > Hi .
