Increasing settings on 2nd rx??

Hey guys,

One more question for those who've undergone multiple photoderms. My

first rx was done with a 2X pulse, 570 filter, and a 48j setting. I had

experienced great results until recently, 3 weeks after. I think maybe

the tiny cells have reformed and I need to take a more aggressive

approach to this. After all, it is $300 a pop. My question is is my doc

wants to just increase the joules by 1 to 49j. She believes in the

" gradual approach " . I might have her increase it to 50j though because

I am now flaring up again and don't think the 1st time was deep enough.

Any comments, do you think this is " too gradual " ??

Also, I may ask for a 3X pulse this time. I just don't know though.

Both had virtually the same response when doing test spots. Any

suggestions?

PS Until recently, I was doing fantastic. However, now I am

experiencing the same negative effects of flaring I did prephotoderm.

I'm VERY confused. I hope more treatments with higher settings will

help.

What is the difference between these pulses, i.e. double pulse, triple

pulse??? I take it the triple pulse is more intense, is that right? That is

what I had done, although I never asked for that versus a double-pulse.
