Guest guest
Thanks Melinda, It's easy to remember the international date line - we are ahead of you! time starts in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and rotates towards Australia. Therefore we hit the new day about 18 hours ahead of you. So, yes, my birthday is on Wednesday - that's tomorrow my current time - but it will be Tuesday your time (mostly) So, thanks for the birthday wish. Hope you are healing real fast. Just get lots of rest. I'm sure that will help. (((Hugs))) RobynMelinda Hohenberger wrote: Hi friends, I am feeling better after spending most of the weekend in bed. Pain control is much better and I am sleeping better. The incision looks great. Yes!! Kathy, I loved your story of Bryce and Zion National Parks. That is one place we haven't made it to, yet, but really hope to. I doubt this summer but maybe next. Glad you had a great trip. Now rest and take care of yourself. Robyn, so I don't miss it, I hope you have a very Happy Birthday on the 21st. Not sure if it is tomorrow or WEd due to the Intl Date Line. I stay so confused on that issue!! If you have a clue on how to keep it straight, I would love it!! We found out this weekend that our nephew's, girfriend (fiance) has the "good" kind of lymphoma. A tumor was found on her vena cava(sp?). She is 24-25 and is set to graduate from the U of Texas at Arlington next month. Our nephew's name is Jim and hers is Layla. Please pray for them and also for Jim's mom (Bob's sister), , as she has shingles and is off work. Jane, the fibro list is quite interesting. What shocked me was that I have or have had at least 85% of those symptoms since my youth but no one could put it together for so many years. Thanks for sharing. Well, I need to get a shower while Bob is here for lunch. Everyone take care. I think of you guys often and appreciate you more than you may realize.Hugs and love to all,MelindaPlease visit our website at:http://ACES_Autoimmune.tripod.com
Guest guest
Thanks Jane RobynJane Hutchinson wrote: Melinda, So glad that things seem to be going better this time than after your last surgery. I know you still have lots of pain though...that's to be expected. Just do your exercises. I'll saw a prayer for your nephew's fiance regarding her treatment of her lymphoma. What is the difference in the good kind and the bad kind? A belated Happy Birthday to Robyn also. I'll be interested in your explanation of the International Date Line. You will enjoy Bryce and Zion National Parks when you get a chance to go there. The rock formations are fascinating. They are gorgeous and amazing to see the different colorations of the tiers of rocks. Just as you think you think you've seen the prettiest one yet, you'll round a corner and another, more intriguing site will come into view. Hope you can get there next year. Guest guest
Melinda, so glad to know you are doing so much better this time. I've been sort of our of the loop for about 10 days and still am behind over 3000 emails to go through. Guess I need to up the level on my Spam control. If I up it to High I won't get emails from anyone except those people on my email list and I'm not quite I want to totally cut myself off from someone I haven't talked to since I got this computer. I also am going to add my firewall back. There is a computer show on the radio here in CA that I used to listen to when I lived here...the host was talking about the Sasser virus and was saying to add the Firewall, then the anti-virus, then a good spy ware. So much to do and so much to learn. Jane I am doing better.... Hi friends, I am feeling better after spending most of the weekend in bed. Pain control is much better and I am sleeping better.
