Guest guest Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 Yep if it helps you that is ALL that matters, ML. All anyone can do with any supplement is to try it for themselves & see if it helps or not, that is the most important study of all & the only one that counts/ cappie Greater Boston Area T-2 10/02 5/05 A1c: 5.3 = 111 mean glu 50-100 carb diet, walking, Metformin ALA/EPO, B12, ALC, Vit C, Cac/mag, low dose Biotin, full spectrum E, Policosanol, fish oil cap, fresh flax seed, multi vitamin, Lovastatin 20 mg/coQ10 100mg, Enalapril 10 mg 5/05:140 lbs (highest weight 309) 5' tall /age 67, cappie@... Guest guest Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 I still have a very hard time figuring out if something really helps me or not but I keep on trying. But I have not given up on L-Arginine or Argentine which I call it, LOL!!!!!!!!! Now if my neck would just stop hurting. BTW, the doctor did not think I had to worry about PAD at this time. He also said I could test less if I wished and of course I told him I do much worse when I don't test. I got 5.8 A1C. I am waiting for a note from him about my cholesterol as I did not take that test the same day. Hope you are having a good day. ml Quote

But I'm not suggesting that. Five grams seems more popular. According to my data, it reaches peak effectiveness one or two hours after taking orally. You might want to consider that when you're looking for dose timing. Five grams/day of arginine has also been used for erectile dysfunction. (Type 2 since 1990. Good control, primarily by diet, but with Ultralente to combat increased IR caused by prednisone.) Quote

Well, that last isn't a problem since I don't have those parts, but thank you for mentioning the doses that have been tried for other things. I'll check the one or two hour effectiveness, too. I wonder when it maxes. sky Quote
