Guest guest
Dear Friends, I'm sure you noticed a lack of e-mail from me. Well the MS kicked my butt again. It started last Thursday. I ended up in the ER on Sunday. It was my choice to be admitted or come home. Of course I wanted to come home! I was a quart low on fluids. Which is one of the reasons I wanted to go in the first place. I figured being dehydrated wasn't helping my problems any and that I would get better quicker if I got some juice in me. But I had vertigo so bad I could barely walk. But I'm not bad enough to have a scooter I only need a walker that goes faster than I want it too....lol I had a migraine with the nausea and then etc. I ended up so weak I could barely get out of bed. I fell Saturday. I bruised my left knee cap, it is black and blue now. I was lucky. I hit my right cheek bone on a decorative step stool but when I bounced I had sense enough to move my head so it wouldn't hit it again. Steve got some walkie talkies so he can hear me when I call for help. He couldn't hear me Saturday is why I fell. I see my neurologist on Friday to see what's going on. I can't get an MRI or anything yet until Medicare Part B is in effect for me. Too expensive otherwise. My eyes don't "feel" right yet, but I haven't had a bit of vertigo today. Yeehaaa! I'm a walking pharmacy for the next 7 days but if it makes me feel better that's ok. But I'm among the walking again. ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here
Guest guest
Shirls.....Please be careful.....Know I keep you in my prayers....I hate vertigo and I have to take a meclazine every night at bedtime.....The neuro said I had to take it that way for it to be affective.....Said just taking it when the vertigo hits isn't enough.....I get it really bad at bedtime most of the time.....Luv ya.... Guest guest
Shirls--I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through that! The dehydration could cause the vertigo, migraine and nausea, etc. Do you have AC--I hope? Hope you're soon better. Let us know what the neurologist says. Big gentle hugs, Kathy I was out of commission Dear Friends, I'm sure you noticed a lack of e-mail from me. Well the MS kicked my butt again. It started last Thursday. I ended up in the ER on Sunday. Guest guest
Shirley, when does the Medicare kick in? I can just imagine your first trip to the doc after that! You'll have about 20 diagnosis, 10o prescriptions and a swift kick in the butt for waiting. I hope it's soon. I guess telling you to stay calm and sitting until your appointment would be pointless, huh? Does Steve have a number for Pam or me to call if something happens to you? Can you put the number on the fridge or something? Not that we could do much but we worry about you! Hugs Christy I was out of commission Dear Friends, I'm sure you noticed a lack of e-mail from me.
