Guest guest
, You asked why not to grill the chicken... because my kids do not like stripes on their food....LOL. You can grill it if you want (as long as no one in your house suffers from " stripe-o-phobia " ). Boiling chicken doesn't take very long if you cut the chicken up first. Boil water and cut the chicken up while the water is beginning to boil. Put the chicken in and it will be done in about 10 minutes. I hope you like the chicken salad as much as we do. Guest guest
, I'm glad to hear that you liked it. I really like to put the chicken salad, diced tomatoes and cashews in big pieces of leaf lettuce and roll it up like a " wrap " . Very tasty. It also makes very tasty sandwiches if you use the mixed nut flatbread/pancake recipe for the " bread " . mmmm..... Guest guest
I wanted to make the mixed nut flatbread, but it had eggs & can not tolerate the eggs yet. (loose stool) I like the lettuce idea & will try. Thanks again! You are full of great ideas, > , > > I'm glad to hear that you liked it. > > I really like to put the chicken salad, diced tomatoes and > cashews in big pieces of leaf lettuce and roll it up like a " wrap " . > Very tasty. > > It also makes very tasty sandwiches if you use the mixed nut > flatbread/pancake recipe for the " bread " . mmmm..... > > > Jody > mom to -5 and -7 > SCD 17 months
Guest guest
I haven't tried any pancakes w/him yet. I didn't realize that some of the recipes for pancakes did not have eggs. I will have to check that out. > , > > Are there are any pancakes that you have been able to make? > That's what we use for " bread " . > (No one hates round bread, just striped food...LOL.) > > The veggie and fruit pizzas are made using a pancake for the > " crust " . You might try those if you have a pancake that he likes. > > > Jody > mom to -5 and -7 > SCD 17 months
