Guest guest
OK, You so freaked me out I just called the nurse and shes going to get it to the doctor. So if they didn't check for that yesterday she is suppose to call me back and get me back in there!!! I told her how I ofund it in my family and I told him yesterday it wasn't in my family at all, cause like you our family doesn't stay in contact very well! The military hospital told my husband he was hypogysemic (spelled wrong) is that type 1 diabetes? Thanks alot Joan and everyone for helping me figure out whats wrong with me! > , glad you got some info regarding insurance and the surgery. Guest guest
, Glad you're getting tested. If you didn't fast for the test yesterday, that test is not what you need. It must be a fasting test. Joan LAP RNY 11/18/03 Dr. Higa, Fresno, CA 282pre-op/275surg/235/140 jclinton@...
Guest guest
Ok, the doctor called me like 30 mins. after I called him and said he wanted me in within the next 2 days to get tested for diabetes, and he sounded very worried, that I am, or that's just how he is. I am going in friday. I didn't realize diabetes was so serious, thanks all! He said he heard a Palipatation in my heart, what doea that mean? O, and on my insurance the confusion was that I am not on Tricare Prime, the free insurance, I am on Tricare Standard, which means I pay a 15 percent deductible. She said I could go to any doctor who performs a gastric bypass without a referral. All I needed was my file saying I am morbid obese. I was like heck yea! I am going to fill the doctor in friday and still see who he has in mind, I am still going to wait on the results of my test. She also said tricare will not cover cost of any diet that the doctor puts me on with weight loss pills, just surgery! How much is a Gastric Bypass??? Cause I need 15% of that! And it's tax time... OS i am skipping lunch again to see if dinner makes me space out... the last time though if it does! > , Glad you're getting tested.
