Amelie update

Hi All

Thanks for messages of support and Yuka for the attempts to uplift me!!

Amelie OK moved from HDU to a ward today,shes out of 6 lites o2 and

back into 2 litres which is good. consolidation on right lung, and the

stomach surgeon said there is only one way to go now with amelie, and

that is the disassociation, which I was all for and then amelies paed

doctor said she didnt think we should go for it, but this week and

more pneumonias I know we have to get it done soon.

So yes Kim role on March!! she needs to be at her most optimum, and as

big as it will be I think its an end to 9 months in hospital from 13,

which is grinding us down, although i try to be cheerful sometimes its

so difficult to manage to smile.

Someone on this listserv suggested E.E. and I asked about checking for

this weeks ago, anyway he came to see Amelie as soon as he realised we

were back in, this Docs a gastroenterologist, he quite agrees we

should rule this out before such big surgery and he is more than happy

to get a biopsy done, but I feel slightly cross that the ENT bronc

thing, these two could have been tied in together, and so now when she

is better from this he wants to do the biopsy and its another GA,

logic doesnt always prevail!!! should we risk another GA for this or

get on with the surgery???

He will need to get permission from the respiratory team for another

GA so I will see what is said next.

Olivia is 10 tomorrow and that will be two birthdays for her, I have

missed out on or should I say she is misssing out on, whilst

arrangements are made its just not the same, my heart isnt in it as

usual due to the infamous words WORRY and wards !!!

My interview at University was a shambles, too nervous and just went

on about anything and nothing, so I have prob not got a place, thats

bugged me also. still theres next year we shall see.

thats it folkes, I havent a clue whats going on in charge land not had

chance to read so please forgive me for no replies at minute, will

catch up later,.
