Guest guest Posted January 6, 1999 Report Share Posted January 6, 1999 HI Lovette, I had that 3 day test. I had to fast for 16 hours each day. I usually started at 2 pm. You only drink for you meds. And take your urine 16 hours later in the AM. I did that for 3 days. Really didn't bother me. You freeze it each day and then the lab sends it frozen. It was called a Lyme Urine Antigen Test or LUAT. Mine came back positive and I think it is because of the fasting. They did blood work too on the first day and it was positive too. My previous tests had been negative. I just thought of something, I found my directions from my doctor. The testing starts on the fourth morning after starting antibiotics. Most of us have had good luck doing that test. I was wondering ideas or ways to get the urine sample because I want to start DMSA. Also is there a page that has like a cheat sheet. Something that says if you have a certain issue, you should use this supplement? Or do I just need to read danas site? My son has gone potty(1 & 2) but he knows he's in control so once its christmas break I hope to figure out his pee schedule so I can try putting him on the " pot " then. My son is his first asd patient so taking baby steps.
