Can everyone try and make their posts more clear. I think by starting a

medical opinion post with " It's my opinion " Or " In my case " . We can't

generalize all CMT and it's effects on people. They are all diffrent. I know

most if us know this already but the new people are getting worried for what

Thought I would pass this on in case this has not already been posted on the

group. I know this doesn't pertain to sick buildings, but thought it may be

of importance to some.

Folks this is off-topic and has just been sent to me by my sister.

Normally I would never ask people to pass on a message to their

entire mailing list as these are traditionally denial of service

attacks. However this appears to be a true warning (based on the

link at the bottom of this message) and since I know some of you

are probably using these products or have children that are using

them, I felt it important to notify you - you may do whatever you

think best with this info:

This information was sent to me by my colleagues at Blue Cross.

Please pass it on.

IMPORTANT!!!

All drugs containing Phenylpropanolamine are being recalled. You

may want to try calling the 800 number listed on most drug boxes

and inquire about a REFUND.

Please read this CAREFULLY, as I know that some of you may USE

some of these drugs (Alka Seltzer Plus for one).

Also, please pass this on to everyone you know. STOP TAKING

anything containing this ingredient. It has been linked to

increased hemorrhagic stroke (bleeding in brain) among women

ages 18-49 in the three days after starting use of medication.

Problems were not found in men, but the FDA recommended that

everyone (even children) seek alternative medicine.

The following medications contain Phenylpropanolamine:

Acutrim Diet Gum Appetite Suppressant Plus Dietary Supplements

Acutrim Maximum Strength Appetite Control

Alka-Seltzer Plus Children's Cold Medicine Effervescent

Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold medicine (cherry or orange)

Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold Medicine Original

Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold & Cough Medicine Effervescent

Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold & Flu Medicine Effervescent

Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold & Sinus Effervescent

Alka Seltzer Plus Night-Time Cold Medicine Effervescent

BC Allergy Sinus Cold Powder

BC Sinus Cold Powder

Comtrex Deep Chest Cold & Congestion Relief

Comtrex Flu Therapy & Fever Relief

Day & Night Contac 12-Hour Cold Capsules

Contac 12 Hour Caplets

Coricidin D Cold, Flu & Sinus

Dexatrim Caffeine Free

Dexatrim Extended Duration

Dexatrim Gelcaps

Dexatrim Vitamin C/Caffeine Free

Dimetapp Cold & Allergy Chewable Tablets

Dimetapp Cold & Cough Liqui-Gels

Dimetapp DM Cold & Cough Elixir

Dimetapp Elixir

Dimetapp 4 Hour Liquid Gels

Dimetapp 4 Hour Tablets

Dimetapp 12 Hour Extentabs Tablets

Naldecon DX Pediatric Drops

Permathene Mega-16

Robitussin CF

Tavist-D 12 Hour Relief of Sinus & Nasal Congestion

Triaminic DM Cough Relief

Triaminic Expectorant Chest & Head Congestion

Triaminic Syrup Cold & Allergy

Triaminic Triaminicol Cold & Cough

I just found out and called the 800# on the container for

Triaminic and =

they informed me that they are voluntarily recalling the

following medicines because of a certain ingredient that is

causing strokes and seizures in children:

Orange 3D Cold & Allergy Cherry (Pink)

3D Cold & Cough Berry

3D Cough Relief

Yellow 3D Expectorant

They are asking you to call them at 800-548-3708 with the lot

number on the box so they can send you postage for you to send

it back to them, and they will also issue you a refund.

If you know of anyone else with small children, PLEASE PASS THIS

ON.

THIS IS SERIOUS STUFF. DO PASS ALONG TO ALL ON YOUR MAILING LIST

so people are informed. They can then pass it along to their

families.

Dr. Lipsey

What type of testing do you do? Have the courts in Texas accepted this

testing and are you " qualified " as an expert witness by the stringent tests

of Texas law? How does the testing you do stand up in court or help support

recovery for HEALTH related lawsuits for personal injury from toxic

molds(stachybotris, aspergillus, etc.)?

Would any doctor reading this please comment on the significance of these

tests. Do these simply indicate a history of exposure, no matter how minor.

Or do they indicate a major problem causing exposure.

Also, any lawyers, please comment on the use of such tests in real court

cases.

Dear Liz,

Your private physician can do the test if he will, you

can request it and see his response, some health dept.

will do the tests, and most likely a specialist such

as a toxicologist or allergist will order them.

Several labs have capability of testing across U.S.

I can't specifically endorse any but Quest Diagnostics

did mine, if that helps.

If you aren't sick then your mold may not be toxic, or

you may have a great immune system. Most of us would

only be thrilled to be in your shoes healthwise, but

unfortunately most of us are not.

What is the specific name or diagnostic code for " the test " that we can

have our doctor ask Quest Diagnositics to process?

Carl,

To my knowledge it is the ig and igg for stachybotrus

chartarum. I will have to look up the code and get

back to you. I am bogged down in legal papers this

week and presently getting ready to go to trial. As

some of you know I am having to try my own case.

I do however have all medical records and will look

that up for you and get back with you tommorrow.

Apparently Quest tests for many things including

virals. I had several of those done also.

At any rate will let you know about the code.

Carl,

Please see the last post that Doug Haney placed as it

is very thorough in all the tests lists and

explanations of tests.

I did not have them all done, because my stachybotrus

was first isolated by specific test.

Yes,

Dr. Lipsey, I had heard. I wrote her a few weeks ago,

and said we would be able to appear as a Coalition and

few other organization spokespersons. Are you

interested in appearing. I do hope so.

We have Doctors helping us. We need Lawyers or Law Firms. The Government crooks cannot be allowed to get away with what they have done to my family.

Ken

We have just gotten more Medical and Laboratory results back from our Doctor's and they are not good. We have to have more extensive Pulmonary testing done for the Toxic Mold effects on our lungs. The Toxic Mold is also destroying our bodies Immune System. It is doing it to all of us including my eight year old Granddaughter, Bridget.

How much more punishment must my family suffer so that Government officials and their illegal and corrupt acts can be covered up? My entire family are victims of the most heinous types of crime, Government corruption and indifference. Massachusetts, PLEASE SAVE MY FAMILY!

,

Thanks for your response. My doctor said the stone is about 1cm, if I

remember correctly and it was noticed visibly through the sonogram. If I'm

not in any danger I am definitely going to avoid the surgery and I'll try a

flush regardless. Which flush do you recommend so that I will not get

violently ill as I 've heard some say can happen.

Thanx,
