I'm sorry is feeling so bad. It is really frustrating knowing that

the med mix up made him feel worse. I hope the Celebrex gives him relief.

June, you're not really having a senior moment, I did mention Fly in my

post in which I told of my wedding plans for November, so it was really

just your subconscious putting it all together !

Now about this putting your hand in the bread machine thing.... just

because you don't use that finger doesn't mean you can just go and try

to crop it off ! Seriously though, I hope you are alright, and not in

too much discomfort. Its usually a male thing to work on the electric

while all of the circuit breakers are all still on, or put a fork in the

toaster while its plugged in, but June what are we going to do with you

??!! Please be careful :) Its okay when you don't feel so hot, and

think you might be falling apart, but we definitely like you in one

piece.

Take care, feel better and watch those fingers,

Heidi

JUNE!

That's horrible! So sorry for you!

Every time I use the oven or iron, I burn myself, but that's a regular

occurance. AND, that's ME!

We all have those senior moments and darn it, we're allowed! Right?! :)

:) Right!

June,

Sorry about the finger. Even if you don't use it, may I suggest trying to

keep it? Sometimes adding extra ingredients to the bread is NOT a good

idea. Seriously, I hope it's going to be ok.

What a great unselfish thing for you to do. I don't think I could manage

with all that you do now. You must be a very organized person with a very

big heart. Your nephew is a very luck boy. Tery

Tery,

I am at times organized. i love kids and i know that my brother would do the

same for me if it was the other way around. i can almost feel him touching my

shoulder and saying thanks for loving him and his son that much.Unselfish i

don't think so i just know its the right thing for me to do and it feels

right.

I talked with the 3 older boys about it and they all agree that its the right

thing to do. my boys are great and they are understanding and have so much

love to give. The idea of giving their uncle bobs little boy a family makes

them happy and proud.

Thanks for the encouragement,

As far as the Dilantin - don't worry. I took it for twenty years. It does

not make you tired and dopey like so many of the epileptic medications do.

It is an old medication and they know what to expect from it. The one

problem I had with it was getting lots of 'pit cavities' in my teeth. Just

be sure to get in for regular dental exams so anything like that is

caught quickly.

Luke needs love and acceptance - you and your family can give him that. You

are not nuts. You are already so busy with five boys - what is one

more? You are this little guys best shot for a good life. If anyone can

love and cherish him, it is you.

Hi ,

My immediate thought after reading this that you MUST be one of

God's angels and He will give you the strength to do what is

right. Nobody would think you're nuts, and his Mother is out of

the question. You're a very special person - it's obvious.

May God give you comfort and strength to do what you must, I know

He will.

Hi ,

Best of luck to tomorrow! I know you will rest easier when this is

all

over. My son, Ron, Jr. had this same surgery about 20 years ago. If my

memory

serves me right, LOL...... he had no pain afterwards. He became very sick

from

the anesthesia though. But today they have great drugs they can give which

can prevent that.....Esther always gets it.

So glad that his father is caring enough to be there for him also :).

Do all your Son's names begin with the letter " J " ? I like that :)

Give a hug for us.

Just to calm your fears......Esther too has had seizures and takes

phenobarbital

for them. All the surgeries that she has had......never produced a seizure!

Hope this helps calm you.

I am glad you like my emotional side. Everyone here think i am having a

nervous break down cause i am always the strong one and it scares them to see

me like a normal person. lol

The boys i mean are so use to me being the rule maker, the one to kiss the

boo boos you know what i mean. They come to me for everything but when i get

emotional they all want to take care of me and make me feel better and i feel

fine just have all the emotions at the surface so what i do is go on line

read all kinds of emotional stuff and spread it people that i like alot or

really care about. That way i don't make everyone here feel like i am having

a nervous break down.

This is my favorite. I am always harping about either drinking water or

it?

I have enjoyed these very much, thanks for sharing.

i like this quote for some reason

" Keep in mind the person that came up with the old adage, 'sticks and stones

may brake my bones but words will never hurt me' was obviously deaf! "

,

Woohoo! I hope Enbrel will be the " one " for . I can't image being his

age and having this kind of pain. Enbrel has been a life saver for a lot of

people, I hope he will be included. Tery

that is awful! Has he ever had this kind of reaction to pain meds?

I am so glad he got approved for Enbrel. I sure hope it works for

and relieves some of his pain. One good thing about Enbrel is it's not a

drug, it is biological. There aren't problems with drug interactions.

I hope feels better soon and can start taking it.
