Sorry this has taken me so long to respond to your email... my messages

are dribbling in late again.

I know you're already at the Mito conference this weekend and I hope it

goes well for you. Good to know you're friends are going with you.

The conference does sounds exciting, especially with all the top doctors

there. I hope you're able to pick up lots of new information and some

possible answers as to why all of this happens and what can be done.

I'm very sorry to hear you're in a flare. That's the pits....but so

glad it's not really bad....we just have to chock it up as a little set

back and try to move through it.

When I was on Imuran, I was started at a dose of of 150mgs. If you're

only on 50mgs to start with that might be the problem. With the

increased dose it might keep things in check.

As for the cancer check up, I went through the same thing after being

diagnosed with PM. The doctors wanted to make sure I didn't have any

cancer growing in me. I was checked from top to bottom and it gave

them a base line to follow. You didn't mention if you had a

colonoscopy and a gastroscopy done yet. Mine were done at the same time

so I was out for most of the procedure. YEA!

Oh gosh ... I'm so sorry your NEW doctor is leaving. Now who

will you get? Can she recommend someone to you?

She does sound really nice so I'm hoping she will lead you to another

doctor she trusts.

It is a roller coaster ride for sure but you will get it all straighten

out and get better. It just takes time to figure out what works and what

doesn't.

That is so amazing about your mother and the " 700 Club " .... that might

not ever happen again... wow!

I can't wait for your return to find out how it went. I do hope you

and your friends are having a great time.
