Guest guest
I'm pretty sure the oil is to soothe and lubricate inflamed skin. You use it on a wet face, just a few drops spread around and then pat dry. I have only been useing it and the other jojoba oil for a short time. So farI have had good results, and it is not causing breakouts. Lynne
Guest guest
Yes, and, as I understand it, the oil is also to help create a barrier b/n the skin and the products we put on it. I remember reading (in one of our good Drs' posts) that part of the reason we have so much trouble with skin care products is that the outer layer of our skin has been so compromised that we absorb too much of them. This is partially why we have such exaggerated reactions to moisturizers and cleansers and sunscreens that people w/normal skin can tolerate w/out irritation. I haven't tried the vita-oil yet, but I have a sample and am waiting for this flare to pass before I use it. I hear it's terrific! --- " lyhuff@...
