My son has developed a habit of clenching his fingers and also placing one

finger on top of another?

Any one who has experienced this? I fear his fingers will be deformed.

He is also sucking his lips in a funny way and having queer mouth movements

He is 3.4 years old.

Any one please advice on how to handle this.

Thanks

My son had exactly the same behaviors when he was loaded in strep. Have you

checked out the information on PANDAS?

For quite a long time, he had a throat infetion and a throat swap showed he

had a streptoccocus aureux (or something close to this). He hasnt developed

a thorat infection for quite some time now. Could a past infection still

bring about such behaviuors?

How did you treat it?

Thanks

If your son is on any type of medication such as: Is known to cause ticks. When

my son was started (risperdal .5 mg TID) it the Psychiatrist described such a

movement I was told to discontinue because it would not disappear after

discontinuing the medication.
