Guest guest
Have a look at the ingredients of the chips. My guess is, there might be maltodextrose or hydrogenated fats. Dagmar. [ ] Ideas please... my daughter has been licking her hands and wrists and wiping them on her cheeks causing soreness around her mouth, hands and cheeks for sometime now. It always appears worse after she has eaten and, at the same time, she also seems silly and giggly. I'm thinking it must be a food but she only eats chicken, turkey and chips (ready made oven chips). I'm thinking the chips are the most likely offenders as they are still " processed " ? Is this likely to mean she will have probs with all potatoes? Any thoughts gratefully received Jacqui

My #3 does this, plus gets very oral, if he eats a food/supplement he does not tolerate, or if he has a yeast issue. This was one of his negative signs on the Lauricidin [see previous message], he had not been oral for over a year, but suddenly became very oral during the 2 weeks on this product. Olive leaf extract works for viral issues for him, without the oral behavior and licking. > It always appears worse after she has eaten and, at the same time, she also seems silly and giggly. You can try dropping the chips and see if that helps. Dana
Guest guest
A couple of weeks ago I saw a behavior just like the one you're describing in a video of a Dallas TV news report on Thimerisol. Here's the link. Watch for it closely. It's there right after they show the boy having a fit on the ground inside his plastic playhouse: http://www.autismfraud.com/Audio-Video/autism_expose1_wfaa.asf This is a purrfectly normal, ordinary behavior for a kitty cat trying to clean up its fur after a good meal. Perhaps you have a kitty, or she's seen someone else's kitty do this? It doesn't mean a child has been reduced to the mentality of a feline, but rather that the bright child has LEARNED how to do something through imitation, and that should be exciting to you because there's a good chance that you've never noticed this kitty behavior before! She may be bored and is pretending to be a kitty perhaps, but it might also mean that she feels the need to clean some sticky feeling off her face. What you should do when you see this behavior is playfully meow a little bit and do it with her in a way that she understands that you love her, you know what she's doing and why she's doing it. Explain to her that it's OK, but that she is cleaning her face like a kitty cat. Praise her for her smarts and then show her how she needs to do it the " human way " with a damp paper towel.
