Guest guest
My son had a runny stool last Tuesday night (almost a week ago), then a watery stool + vomited Wednesday morning. No more vomits, but MANY liquid stools, capping at 7 in a day, stooling every day. He has colitis, but isn't a vomiter, and does not usually have many contiguous " water " -stools and does not have them for several days in a row. His belly was distended: 11-months pregnant with twins and his belly-button popped. It was hard one day. He has a little gas, but no other symptoms. He is alert, laughing, smiling, eating, drinking, peeing, sleeping, normal appetite, not lethargic, good color, no fever, did great at the playground. He is not dehydrated. I ate all of the same foods as he, and I did not get sick. The foods I gave to him to eat did not change. ?????????????????????????????????????? Guest guest
Maybe he just picked up a bug from some one? That could be a good thing. A lot of these kids cant get sick or even run fevers because the immune system is so taxed. Tristan did not get sick until this last winter. It was not fun but on the other hand it was a happy time for me because finaly that ole immune system kicked in the way god intended. I think these kids get very ill when the body finally allows it to happen. I mean we have to ask the question where does all the bugs go if the body cant rid them. It must build up in there. I would think that even if your just doing diet and not any detoxing that the diet will eventually do the things that detoxing would do just not as fast. So maybe your not doing anything wrong. Maybe the diarhea is the body finally kicking some stuff out? Is there undigested food in the stool? > My son had a runny stool last Tuesday night (almost a week ago), then a watery stool + vomited Wednesday morning. Guest guest
Yes, there is undigested food in the stool, which isn't unheard of here. Usually, if he eats sliced, cooked carrots, it won't digest. This is bits of sliced, ripe bananas. What does undigested food mean? Re: Mystery bug? > > Maybe he just picked up a bug from some one? Guest guest
those poops your child has sounds exaclty what tristan used to get a year 1/2 ago. Undigested foods in stools. what are you giving in addition to diet change? supplements. The problem is the things I used for tristan are considered ILLEGAL here.I dont use them anymore as of maybe 6 months ago because his gut healed enough. kimberly > > > My son had a runny stool last Tuesday night (almost a week ago), > > then a watery stool + vomited Wednesday morning. Guest guest
Oh, they do smell bad, though. He's been eating the same foods since October 2003. He's been using the same supplements since February. Well, I think I might get a specimen kit tomorrow. Thank you for your help.
