Guest guest
I would have to agree with Tessa-- I have seen more exploration, interaction, etc with TTFD vs DMSA/ALA. I was alternating both and found that he does well with 1/4 the dose that the Dr prescribed. We have stopped DMSA/ALA for now since we are trying homeopathy. 20 % might have problems with it, but 80% do not...I bet the same can be said for DMSA/ ALA. [ ] TTFD - why exactly is it so bad, Andy? > I keep hearing that TTFD is not useful at best and harmful > at worst from Dr. Cutler. Just like their mainstream colleagues who still insist shooting kids full of horrific amounts of mercury is safe, these people went to medical school where they were admitted with totally inadequate chemistry backgrounds and then punished for years on end any time they tried to think for themsevles or ask technical questions. Understandably, after this experience, they aren't very good at gathering data properly or analyzing it accurately. It is very much to their credit that they try to do so despite such intense brainwashing. Unfortunately they mostly aren't very good at it, having been powerfully trained in " going with the flow, " and " conforming to accepted practice standards, " they mostly look at what everyone else is doing and make up some kind of pseudoscientific blather to justify why that is the right thing for them to do. This is why pointless fads run through the community and are later abandoned. . .. . . . > I have heard that DMSA and ALA have their problems too. Indeed, but much less than TTFD, and unlike TTFD they do actually remove heavy metals and lead to permanent improvements in toxic people. Andy . . . . . . . . . . Guest guest
, I believe it does something w/ the liver. My son's stool went yellow but when I added in taurine it was okay. I am willing to give it another try because Jack's cadmium is so high and I have heard some good results from the use of the allithiamine. I am using it w/ caution because I do trust Andy's opinion. A friend of mine son's stool went yellow and he was not okay for some time. nne > Andy, > > Can you give some specific examples on the negative side-effects of TTFD? > > Thank you, > > > > [ ] Re: TTFD - why exactly is it so bad, Andy? > > > > why are > > respected DAN doctors, Dr. McCandless included, > > still espousing TTFD? > > Just like their mainstream colleagues who still insist shooting kids > full of horrific amounts of mercury is safe, these people went to > medical school where they were admitted with totally inadequate > chemistry backgrounds and then punished for years on end any time they > tried to think for themsevles or ask technical questions. > Understandably, after this experience, they aren't very good at > gathering data properly or analyzing it accurately.
