Guest guest
Hi , Why not DMG instead? What are you using it for? I gave my son TMG instead of his regular DMG for a while and he started having all sorts of behavioral problems. I was told the difference was that TMG was a " step beyond " DMG so it may be a " stronger " product than DMG. What ended up happening is enough people told me that our little guy may actually need to go through the " converting process of that step " in order for the product to benefit the child. As I understand it, some people have problems and need DMG and some people benefit from TMG. http://www.autism.org/dmg.html I think if he is having any issue what so ever that may coincide with TMG, I would try DMG. He may be one of these kiddos who TMG has a bad effect on. Have you noticed any positive changes?
Guest guest
That seems like a high dose??? Carla [ ] Help! My kid has started lisping. TMG? Over the past month or so, we've slowly been introducing TMG to our son (almost 5yo, Aspergers). He's also getting B-12 shots and folinic acid. We've noticed that coincidental with the TMG, his enunciation seems to be changing. Most noticeable is a lisp: it started with him pronouncing his S's like SH, but now he's sticking his tongue between his teeth and it's coming out almost like a TH sound. It seems really weird to think that TMG could cause a lisp. Has anyone had this experience? The lisping started pretty early on, when he was getting maybe 250mg/day of TMG. He's now up to 750mg/day. - =======================================================
Guest guest
Well, our DAN dr asked us to try to work it up to 8 caps/day if he tolerated it, and we're only up to 6 caps/day so far. What do you think is a better dose? --- In , " Carla Pham " <carlampham@c...> wrote: > That seems like a high dose??? > > Carla > [ ] Help! My kid has started lisping. Guest guest
, No, I haven't noticed any improvements with the TMG. It's sort of the story of our son's treatment that very few things we try produce any positive change, but most things (like B6, enzymes, now possibly TMG), if given in high enough dose, produce a negative reaction. We are so anxious to begin chelation, which I believe will be within the next week or two. Thanks for the link to info on DMG. I'm going to try to research both DMG and TMG a little more before I discuss this with my doctor next week. Thanks for the advice. > Hi , > > Why not DMG instead? What are you using it for?
