Guest guest
Hello When does one know that the yeast and bacteria is actually gone. We are into week 5 and BM have been very unpredicable - I don't know if it is a reaction to a new food or just yeast die off. What is the difference? Also my young man is still craving food i.e sugar food and keeps requesting for the jelly, raisens or honey. I have hardly give him any honey so far and i have given him raisens to entice to drink the soup. He is six, with autism, non-social and little verbals (only to request)and no concept of the diet. I am finding it all very hard as he seems to have went backwards. He just climbs the cupboards day in day out as he refuses to eat most of the foods, he is still wetting at night (he was dry for 2 years before diet) and quite verbally stimmy. I did G/C free before this with high hopes ABA with high hopes and now this diet. Even though he has learnt a great deal he just doesn't see the need to share it. He lacks motivation and could sit all day watching the world go by. I am wondering am I just torturing him as he doesn't get into food shops anymore because of the sweets, does't get top parties, other people's houses -he is an nightmare to watch because all that is on his mind is food - sugar in particular, his lunch is bland. He can't stand the sight of fruit - I made up beautiful ice-cream with bananas and strawberries , a little bit of coconut milk and a drizzle of honey. hubbie devoured it as my little one cried his eyes out at the thought of me given this to him. Later out for a walk he attempted to eat cows manure. I just feel like giving up. I don't know what I am doing-Every meal he is being force fed. Before this we were encouraging him to eat with a spoon and fork now he won't even feed himself . Where am I going wrong? Has anyone else any of these issues and what helped. Didn't mean to go on so long but I just feel like giving up!
