Guest guest
Kathy - I'm so glad that you are getting answers as to what is going on. You probably don't want to be a member, but welcome to the no " O " club. I have elected myself chairwoman of this elite organization, having had no O in 7 months. But enough about me...I really hope that the Clomid does the trick for you, we will be thinking about you. As for your AF after Provera, I have taken Provera 4 times in the past 7 months, and I have gotten AF as early as while I'm still taking the Provera (day 8 out of 10) to 16 days after I finish taking it. I think that the norm is for AF to arrive within 10 days after finishing the Provera. Bascially, your body goes thru progesterone withdrawal and that causes AF. I have taken Provera for 5 days and for 10 days, and I would recommend stopping the Provera if you get AF while taking it (you can check with your doctor on that one, but that's what I was told, and you are taking it to bring on AF anyway.) Guest guest
>As for the provera, everyone is different, but most seem to get their >period within 7-10 days of the last pill. I started the Provera this evening and I will take one pill a day for five days. The nurse told me on the phone this afternoon that I should see AF 2-3 days after the last pill. Is this possible? Tomorrow DH and I go in for injection training. On a Sunday morning! I can't believe how accommodating these people are! DH's mother and father committed suicide recently (yes, together), and we've had to tend to the estate and sell the house. We've been between Mass. and CT every weekend, so it's hard to fit things into our schedule. But the Fertility Center of New England has been great. No one was supposed to be doing the injection training tomorrow, but the nurse is going to do it just for us. I'm excited to get going with this cycle! -Kathy D., 28 t-shaped uterus m/c 7/02 ttc#1 _________________________________________________________________ Instant message in style with MSN Messenger 6.0. Guest guest
Kathy, Welcome to the annovulatin club. Provera can bring on AF even before you take your last dose, or it can take up to two weeks after your last pill. Take it at bedtime, suprisingly, it can make you feel loopy and tired. I had a problem with annovulation after my lap, and didn't O even after the first try on 50 mg of Clomid. The second cycle, they put me on 100 Mg clomid, and that did the trick. Hang in there! Guest guest
Angie, Let's say, for example, that I take the 50mg Clomid as instructed on Days 2-6 and I go in for an u/s on Day 8 (which I will). Now, let's say that I have two large follicles. How will I know if those follicles even contain an egg to be released? Is it possible that nothing could release? -Kathy D., 28 new member of the anovulation club _________________________________________________________________ Help protect your PC. Guest guest
Kathy D- What a surprise about your O'ing ... you must be so relieved that you pushed to get this evaluated! I'm so sorry to hear about your in- laws ... that's one of those things no one ever thinks will happen to them. What a blessing that you're RE office has been so supportive! Please let us know how it goes!!
Guest guest
, I was REALLY surprised that I'm not o'ing. After all, I was able to get pregnant before, so I must have been o'ing at one time. Perhaps I was o'ing once every three or four months and I just happened to get lucky! Now I'm taking the Provera and it's making me tired and irritable. I had a meltdown last night. Three more pills- that's all. Let's hope it brings on af so I can get this cycle started! -Kathy D., 28 m/c 7/02 ttc#1 w/clomid & IUI > >Reply-To: MullerianAnomalies >To: MullerianAnomalies >Subject: Re: the verdict is in >Date: Mon, 22 Sep 2003 15:01:10 -0000 > >Kathy D- >What a surprise about your O'ing ... you must be so relieved that you >pushed to get this evaluated! Hi Kathy, I could be wrong, but I asked this ques during my US. My tech said that usually annovulatory follicles and/or cysts usually appear cloudy on US. HOWEVER, note that I used the word " usually " :-( Anyone else know about this?

And during a cancelled cycle I got AF after taking the provera for only 2 days. If you get AF while you are on the provera ask your dr if you should stop. > > Tomorrow DH and I go in for injection training. On a Sunday morning! It always helped to rub an ice cube over the injection area for a minute or so before DH injected me. It really numbs the area and then you can assure him that you aren't in pain. >>DH's mother and father > committed suicide recently (yes, together), and we've had to tend to the > estate and sell the house. Oh Kathy, how tragic. I am so very sorry. I cannot imagine what you are both dealing with. You and dh are in my thoughts.
