If you come back in a month with the same problem... they might take a closer look as to the problem. ****I mean, if you think about it, my doctor spent 10 minutes with me, gave me a bag full of drugs, and sent me on my way. He could do that all day long and make a fortune.**** One reason why you're hurried in and hurried out... the more patients seen the more money he makes. And, the better set of golf clubs he can buy.... ok, that was a little joke! ****Not only that, the pharmaceutical companies are making it huge because they know that the antidepressants are addicting and hard to get off of so they maybe pushing them too.**** Exactly, another good reason to question your doctors and ask for an explanation of why you're receiving certain meds...especially antidepressants. ****So my point is, even if he lost me as a customer, there are more customers to replace me, and the next and the next. **** This is true, but he/she also knows that word of mouth talk can kill his business. He doesn't want that so you, as a patient, have to be more verbal in what you want and what you get. If he's a bad doctor, tell him so! Some of these doctors are very good but they have lousy bedside manners...if you bring that to their attention it can shake them up a little and they will try harder to change. ****These doctors out here will always have business unless they really screw up malpractice wise.**** While the medical board in Calif. is tightening up, it's only doing so because people are now writing to them to complain about their doctors. They keep a file on each doctor listed with them. The doctor gets notified that a complaint has been received and is on file. Doctors can't afford that because if they ever get sued, their file is opened up to see other complaints listed. So, if you have a really bad doctor... write a letter to him and send a courtesy copy to the medical board of your state... it will remain on file and the medical board will send a letter to them as well. I could start a lawn mowing service. yeah, that's it........... LOL!!! Now I am starting to feel better and feeling like I can conquer the world!!! That is not good though because I always end up over doing it and paying for it at night. There is so much I want to do!!! Hey, Vicki, this may sound weird but when I started taking all those vitamins you helped me pick out, I feel like I have a different body odor. Not offensive, just different. Did you notice that??
