You can turn the tomato juice a bit higher but watch that it doesn't splatter. I add a few drops of honey and vinegar to my ketchup and sometimes even a whole clove of garlic which I later discard. SCD ketchup and mayo--the best! Mix 'em together- Russian Dressing. Who says, " There's no other kinds once you've tasted Heinz? " It must have been . LOL! Carol F. Guest guest
You can try making it in a large skillet (on low so you don't have tomato spatters everywhere)...... the tomato juice will be a shallower depth, but spread over a larger area (am I making sense? )...... so the liquid will evaporate out faster as it cooks down.
