Hi all. I usually just read, but I need help. I have recently

stopped giving my 4.4 yo son Nystatin and started giving him GSE

(Source Naturals)(BTW it tastes horrible even in juice) 2 drops/day

because I thought for sure this would take care of any yeast issue

he might still have. Do you give GSE daily every day or

intermittently?

He has been on CLO, SNT, Coromega, Nystatin, ProbioGold, Culturelle

for a year now, and I thought gut might be healed to start

chelating. Started Lauricidin during Christmas and have more

interaction and speech.

Since discontinuing the Nystatin and starting GSE he has been real

gigly, laughing and babbling to himself at night, making noises,

which had diminished a great deal. Is this yeast or die off,

anyone? I know I have read that these are some signs of yeast in

some, but how do I know.

As for chelating, are there any tests that should be done before

attempting Andy's protocol. I have been putting it off trying to

make sure we address gut first, but I don't know if we have and here

I am a year later, and I feel the clock is ticking. Our dr. in VA

had us try two different creams to chelate but I never started one

and discontinued the other after a week because I didn't feel

comfortable with what I was reading about the liver being stressed.

How can I tell if we are ready to attempt to chelate?

Any input would be greatly appreciated,

Hi ,

I'm no expert by any means. But I tried for close to a year to get my son's

gut healed using enzymes and SCD and it didn't happen. So I started chelating

and so far it has been going very well. It was clear something was blocking the

way to healing, and I think now that something is metals. You can always give

it a go and see what happens, and then re-evaluate.

Only when my son had yeast. Otherwise it caused a bad bacteria

problem. [Except recently, when I have given it " occasionally " , even

with no yeast symptoms, and he has no problems with it now.]

It is difficult to know. What do his bms look like?

GSE is high phenol. Does your child have a problem with phenols? If

so, give GSE with No-Fenol enzyme, see if that helps.

There are several you can consider, but I never tested my son, so I

can't give you specifics.

You could try GSE twice a day for a week and see if the yeast goes

away. I would not give it more than a week though..

You could do a CBC & diff and a chemical panel blood test, make sure

liver enzymes are included. This way you'll have a reference to

compare to later on during chelation.

After a year on supplements, I would certainly start chelating.

Mercury will continue to do a lot of damage if you do not take it

out. IMHO it is way more risky to postpone chelation.

You will probably get lots of yeast and gut issues while chelating

anyway, so be prepared to fight it!
