Hi all -

Finished using my samples of Fallene SPF 65 Total Sunblock. Here's

my thoughts on them ...

Clear - I liked this one. It was very liquid as opposed to a

cream/lotion so it went on very easily. I wore it and spent most of

the day gardening. I didn't pick up any sun at the end of the day.

I didn't notice an odor to it either. I know Gail did but maybe I'm

just not as sensitive as her.

Tinted - This was thicker - more like a cream. I didn't get the

coverage as shown in their photos - I can still see my redness

through it. But I didn't put it on really heavy either. Plus you

don't get the color 'drops' to match your own skin tone with the

samples. I didn't notice any odor to this version. I think it is

easier to put on than ZincO because it is thinner. Anytime I can put

less pressure on my face spreading products on I appreciate it -

because that gives me a major flush.

I didn't have a reaction (flush) to either version.

Their literature states that rosacea is one of the light sensitive

diseases that their product is made to help. Someone else in this

group posted that this product isn't good for rosacea, that it is for

photosensitive folks like those with lupus. This company considers

us in that group.

The samples were free so everyone can try them out for themselves if

hi,

that was me. i said it isn't just a physical block that could be a problem

for those of us with rosacea, i didn't say it was bad for rosacea. i also i

said that it was designed primarily for people who react to light. it was

not designed for sensitive skin. that doesn't preclude those who have

sensitive skin from using it if it works for them and they like it. i just

meant it as a warning that it was not a product designed for those with

sensitive skin or cosmetic intolerances. it is supposed to block all visible

light as well as uv light, but there isn't any cream you can put on your face

that blocks all of it.
