" I'm wondering how a 5 year old has an affair. The word, " affair, " implies that a 5 year old is capable of consentual sex with an adult or significantly older kid. So yeah. Go to a room full of people you don't know, who don't even have to give their last names, who have also been molested but perhaps not treated in any meaningful way. and tell them your whole story. We already know about all the happy endings in that kind of environment. judith, angry skeptic

" I get so pissed about this! A 5 yr old does not have AFFAIRS with older men, they are being sexualy abusedl! and sexually abused kids sadly often go on to actively seek further abuse. I hve seen this kind of story in the " rewms " before. when ppl have been abused as children, sexually or otherwise, often the biggest block they have to overcoming it is that they feel that they are responsible for the abuse and they feel dirty and ashamed, and a good therapeutic approach encourges them to realize they were innocent and helpless and in no way to blame. Instead, the stepper mentality enocurages ppl to actively believe that they were responsible for it or that they could have put a stop to it. (I've had the latter put on me too). This is reinforcing ppl's trauma not alleviating it. Aaaargh! P.

She said he was molested, he did not have an " affair. "
Guest guest
What is that chick thinking in that Roy Lichtenstein lookalike cartoon on the front? " If one of these boring old creeps hits on me one more time I swear I'm gonna kill him! " ?
