Guest guest
Barbara, What exactly is the more invasive surgical approach? Were you out on work comp? I know that I am in the cervical collar for a minimum of 2 weeks....doc will decide at the end of that time if I can come out of it. Then from what I gather they will start therapy after I come out of the collar. I know that at this point there is no way that I could go back that quickly as I have very limited range of motion on my arm...not the mention I can't do much with it strength wise after a couple of hours. They are going to have to work on my arm to get it back before I would be able to get back to work. I plan to use my time well! Teri -- Re: termination of employment while on work comp DanetteThanks, thats what concerns me most. I dont have a return date. My last note was "out of work indefinetely" I am coming up on 12 weeks and as of right now am trying to reach my employment but have gotten voicemail.I did talk to my casemanager, as much help as she has been in the past, this wasnt something she could easily answer for me either..she said I needed to talk to work...all she could tell me is they wouldnt terminate me but could put me on per diem status which sucks! She didnt think they could change the shift I was hired for. I dont knw, I hate not having any idea whats going to happen next.On a more positive light, I had another injection today, it went a bit better than the last one though I wouldnt say it helped entirely but I certainly feel better than when I went in there. I still have the burning, but I ca! n move my neck and my pain level went from about a 6 to a 2. Im not complaining. He said he would see me next week for my final injection and discuss other options at that time....he wouldnt elaborate as I was in the "recovery room" so I have no idea what he meant by that. I got him to give me a new script for Pt for soft tissue work and I called the dept, she goes on to tell me that she doesnt know if they will approve another therapist since ot is working on me...she doesnt get it and I dont have the energy to explain it, I simply told her that without PT doing this OT is worthless as I cant lift weights from the pain. I do my home exercises but without hands on, its not worth it.anyway, now its me writing the novel. Hope everyone is having a great day!HugsDonna
Guest guest
Teri - Thanks, Teri. I'm planning on doing some serious "kick back" time this weekend. It just occurred to me this morning that Monday is a holiday. Whooopppeeeeee ! Now don't anyone wake me up !! I'm also going to go to fair tonight after work with a friend. Rest assured, Teri, I'm taking care....Hope that you're doing the same. Barbara

Guest guest
Sorry Teri. didn't mean or want to make you look like a fool. I'd just seen it come through from several people, so checked it out on snopes.com In a message dated 10/2/2004 8:38:47 AM Eastern Daylight Time, RSD-CRPSofAmerica writes: Subject: Teri - Reply to ,Gee thanks for making me look like a fool for passing something like thatalong.
