Lesley,

I believe there are a couple who have had the second surgery you are speaking

of. One is of a young woman whose mother isn't active on this list right

now. Either that or she is lurking. I hope she jumps in as she is a wealth of

firsthand information here.

I have now words of help except please know we continue to keep all of you in

our hearts. You are a great mother. Amelie feels and knows that. All your

children do. Remember that and then learn all you can and trust yourself with

the decisions you make.

We pray you are all held closely at this time.

Oh Lesley-

I am sooo sorry to learn of Amelie's setbacks. All life is so vulnerable

and beautiful - and most people have the comfort of living in the illusion

of control and predictability. The rollercoaster of the volatile state of

our babies health is exhausting and at times daunting. I know that if I

become attached to even the smallest specific detail of an outcome I can be

derailed from my center of peace - and that center is what I need most at

moments like the one you are describing. I need that center so that I am

ready to notice what I need to know. I need that center so I can be in the

moment. I need that center so that I can let go of my fear.

I pray and I wish with all my heart for speedy comfort and fluent health for

your precious Amelie -

with love,

yuka

OMG! Lesley, I am so sorry! You have every right to be fed up! This

roller coaster is one it is time to be off of! I don't know anything about

the latter procedure. Do I recall that Amelie has had the Nissen done a few

times already and they don't last? We will just pray and pray and pray for

your sweet baby girl! Kim L
