Guest guest
Carolyn, Have you tried the hazelnut or cashew yogurt? Maybe he just can't tolerate almonds. Have you been able to give him the acidophilus? Taco salad: Lettuce, tomatoes, red peppers, ground beef or turkey, sliced olives, black beans, guacamole, salsa and shredded goat cheese. Devilled eggs: Boil eggs, cut in half lengthwise and remove yolks. Mix either mayo or mustard or both with the egg yolks, add salt and mix well. Put the mixture back into the holes. Peanut butter and honey sandwiches: I've use the mixed nut flat bread before, but I prefer to use the sneaky veggie pancake recipe. That way the sandwich isn't so " nut heavy " and it has veggies in it. Jody mom to -5 and -8 SCD 20 months
Guest guest
tried the pecan, hazelnut and cashew. In full honesty he just doesn't do well with nuts of any kind. But finely ground almonds from Lucy's seems to be the best for now. Not perfect and he still reacts. The acidophilus only from Harry-for me it makes me constipated and for him he gets diarrhea. Guest guest
Hi Carolyn, Canned sliced olives can be okay. But it depends on the ingredients. We use sliced green olives That contain water, olives and lactic acid. The brand is " No Name " but there are probably other legal brands out there.
