Kari,

I weaned my dd at 13 months and my son is still nursing at 23 months. With

both of them I seemed to start losing weight easily at 18 months. I have

again hit another plateau and don't know if I will lose more before

weaning. Our bodies do like to keep on a little extra during nursing.

Hello...Just wondering if any one else has hit a plateau with weight loss.

I did this with my other 3 also. I was hoping not to with Dalton but I

think we are done losing weight until he is weaned. Once the others were

weaned it just dropped off. Guess I will just have to accept the fact that

I will be fat for another year or so!!!

Hi ,

Thanks for sending the link for the babytype. My kids liked it too,

especially the 2 year old. But could you please tell me how to exit the

program??!!!??? Thanks! Joan

I want to know what kind of excuse this, ahem, lady, (using term lightly!)

said to make her actions seem proper.

I thought her actions were rude, harmful, and dangerous to you and your

children. Rotten brat.

...glad things are ok after that experience!

Rhonda,

Is is a staph skin infection? If so then I would recommend Califlora

Calendula gel. It works so well on different skin problems. Colloidal

silver is also a great bacteriocide. It can be use internally or topically.

Rhonda,

Colloidal Silver is available at health food stores but can be very

expensive. I have a colloidal silver generator to make my own. If you want

more info http://www.silversolutions.com You could also try some Lansinoh

(lanolin for nursing) which would help soothe the bottom. Weleda diaper

care works well. I would use a combo of soaking the butt in colloidal

silver, to kill the germs (which you can dilute with distilled water) and

then applying a diaper cream (without petroleum jelly) to help heal the

wounds.

This is exactly what it looks like. I am taking her to the doctor tomorrow I

cant wait to order medicine online and to get to a homeopathic store would be

a trip farther than the doctor so I am going to go that route plus her

insurance will pay for the meds and if I go the homeopathic route they wont

so that is my best bet. Wendi thanks for the site on colloidal silver it was

very informative.

You could try a couple different things. First make sure her nails are

always clipped so they don't cut you. You can try moving her hand to a

different section of skin that isn't so sensitive, like your stomach or

maybe give her a soft piece of cloth to hold and rub instead. She could even

use the cloth to touch your breast with and then it wouldn't hurt you so

much. My son is master of the fluttery, flying hands and we have had to try

a lot of different tricks. His nails always have to be short or else he

gouges me up. Good luck.

I can relate!!!! And as Jen got older, she would focus on something to

" pick at " once she picked off a skin tag! Then she switched focus and

would crawl her hand up and down the inside of my shirt sleeve lol.

Maybe you could try to get her arm under your arm instread of under your

breast?

There were nursing necklaces on auction on one of the sites yesterday.

Looked like macramé with beads and hemp. Perhaps a necklace would

help distract her hand?

, or find something else for her to grab onto. :-)

this is a really normal thing developmentally. you can either place the

hand between your arm and breast while you nurse, or find something else for

her to grab onto. :-)

That's a good idea...that will deal with one hand and I think I will just

have to olace her other hand on top instead of underneath...I am getting

dozens of tic tac sized bruises!

C'mon Kim - TOO many emails is exactly why you shouldn't unsubscribe!!

This group has provided me with more insight on rosacea than any doctor's visit

ever could...I feel like I should be

paying someone for all of this information (don't get any ideas ) :>)

Bobbye,

Seb derm is short for Seborrheic Dermatitis, a condition which causes

flaking and scaling of the face, scalp, and sometimes the chest. Dandruff is

seb derm on the scalp. Many rosaceans develop facial seb derm in addition to

rosacea.

Swollen lymph nodes in the neck-- Definately yes! I asked the same question

a couple of months ago and got a reply from Jim that I thought could be very

true. I will look for my responses and get back with you. It will take lots

of looking since I print out everything that I feel pertains to me. Let me

know what you find out also. By the way, my dr. had no clue, but I'm sure

that doesn't surprise you!

with the rosacea--I love this group and value the input.
