Guest guest
Kenny, Please be ware of the SSI doctor. If you are taking any type of antidepressants they will be looking to give you the lesser of two benefits. If they can find a way to say that you are clinically depressed rather than handicapped from your illness, you could receive a smaller cash benefit. I learned about this from my lawyer and she told me that I should NEVER trust any of them. They are definitely not there to help you and I learned that out first hand! I have two appeals going right now and I am doing paperwork for my attorney as we speak!!! I wish you all the best and hope that you are feeling better soon. LOL and Best Wishes. I will be keeping track of the doctors I see,and what meds they give out, but it can be so hard, because I only see my nero doc once a month, and will not be seeing new pain doc till 23rd of this month. Also got my nero doc sending me to PT for my right foot, when my left knee is hurting so bad, I don't get it.When I do go to my new pain doc, I am going to see if he can be my only doc for meds, and my head doc, also. Some times I feel like I am losing my mind, so many docs, and court for w/c coming up, plus now SSI wants me to see their doc, it's like being in one of those fun houses at the fair, good thing my wife helps me keep track of it all. Here's hoping every one a less pain day,and here's wishing for the day when there is no more pain at all. With Luv,and Prays Kenny
Guest guest
>Hi Kenny Im so sorry to hear all the frustration you are going thru, it seems when it rains it pours. The fact that others have so much control over the outcome of our lives is so very very frustrating. Hang in there and tomorrow will be a better day. Guest guest
Kenny, I'm just catching up with some of the e-mails. I'm feel for you when the dr's say one thing just the oppisite of what you know and feel. Sorry to hear you have to go thru all that mess. I found that only 1 doc should be prescribing all the meds. It can get really messed up. Esp. if you are taking several. I hope they can get 1 doc to state you have a neuro problem. That's all it takes as in my case. But it's hard to have several agree here at mayo clinic. and once you get one diagnosis they aren't real willing to change that. Luckly I did some research as you did on RSD and went over it my gen dr. He was thinking along the same lines as I. Hope your enjoying the weekend. Put your thoughts away for the weekend and take a breather from the mess. Luv, Laurie
