Guest guest
I don't know, I'm no authority, but what temperature was your kitchen? I've lived in places where it might be 40 degrees in the day and places where it never gees above 10 celcius, that might affect the food quality. Today it wouldn't have mattered if I left the firidge door open all day! Chris. > After leaving the goat yoghurt in the Yogourmet for 24 hours, we > forgot to put it in the fridge. Guest guest
It was pretty comfortable yesterday so probably somewhere between 21 to 24 celsius. Do you think it's still got the good bacteria? > > After leaving the goat yoghurt in the Yogourmet for 24 hours, we > > forgot to put it in the fridge. It must have been out for about a > > day now. Guest guest
The yogurt is fine. It is getting it over hotter than the yogurt maker that would kill the bacteria or freezing it would destroy much of the bacteria, but leaving it at room temperature should be fine. In fact some people make yogurt by putting it in a sunny window. > After leaving the goat yoghurt in the Yogourmet for 24 hours, we > forgot to put it in the fridge. Guest guest
Hi Carolyn, There may be a small number of bacteria left, but not likely for very long. You could bake with this batch or turn it into some frozen treat. Or turn it into some goat yogurt cheese.
