Guest guest Posted March 17, 2002 Report Share Posted March 17, 2002 Hi Miss Oh I don't know about needing family around. If your family is normal and nice that would be one thing but mine isn't. Once he found out I was sick he decided it was high time to get together. I haven't seen him in over 20 yrs. It's hard to pick up where you never left off. We were never, ever close. He's always lived in his own world and in his eye's I was considered the village idiot. He told me yesterday that he was very surprised to find out that I was not only an intelligent person but that I could carry on a conversation. HUH????? Threw me for a loup and cracked up my cousins.... It was so funny, we couldn't stop laughing..... It was the way he said it that really got all of us. I'll be meeting my niece for the first time tomorrow. She's had a little trouble and he feels I can set her straight on some things.... Well first off, she's 21 and she's on her own.
