Guest guest
I just joined this and just started the diet on my son. His bm's were doing okay on the GFCF diet but since starting the diet on 8/14 they are very dark, runny and grainy. I don't feel like I know what I am doing or if I am doing it right. He is eating grape juice, gelatin made with the grape and pineapple juice, banana's, raisens along with lots of eggs and some chicken and other meat. Of course, he is very picky and meat is his LEAST favorite. Can I make some muffins . . . HELP if you have any ideas I would surely take them. His behavior is not terrible, he seems to go up and down. He is just slightly on the autistic scale. thanks, bb
Guest guest
He's been on it since 8/14 (two Saturdays ago). Can he have the muffins on the introductory diet? I thought by the book he could have raisens even though it didn't seem right. I am getting more confused and overwhelmed by the day! (take a breath, I know) to bad I am not good in the kitchen . . . thanks, bb bm's dark and nasty > > > I just joined this and just started the diet on my son. Guest guest
Take a deep breath and read this webpage: http://www.pecanbread.com/foodprep.html That should help you quite a bit. Jody mom to -5 and -7 SCD 19 months
Guest guest
, The intro diet is only intended to be for a couple of days..... no more than five days total. Then you can start introducing easy-to-digest foods. And yes, muffins are fine to introduce..... slowly..... after the intro diet. Dried fruits are legal on SCD..... but are harder to digest and should come later on. Don't worry..... read the website. It will get easier.
