Welcome back to SCD. We've just started. The profile of your kids

struck me as it sounds so similar to mine: 8 yo with UC and 5 yo with

developmental delays. If you ever wanted to email off the board, let

me know.

Sondra,

There are countless SCD foods that will freeze well: examples:

Lasagna, meat balls or meat sauce, muffins, cookies, SCD breads, soups, stews,

popsicles made with fruit, juice or even vegetables, SCD Ice Cream, chicken stir

fries, casseroles, meat loaf etc.

Yes. I freeze a lot of stuff - banana bread, muffins, cookies,

peanut butter caramels, coooked hamburgers, cooked chicken nuggets,

cooked breakfast sausage, pancakes, waffles, blueberries,

strawberries (frozen in summer), cooked squash and pumpkin. I know

some people freeze spaghetti sauce (I can it).

If you cook a lot at a time sometimes, then freeze, you will have

easy meals.

Good luck.
