Guest guest
Lori, Boy, this is all just so much! I haven't had to have a cast on, but I know my ortho, who diagnosed my RSD wasn't very fond of casts, etc. Hopefully, this will help you though, keep your foot from deforming, etc. Hugs, Jo
Guest guest
Faith, Thank you so much, I'm hanging in right now, just waiting to go see my doc on Monday. I need all the hope and prayers I can get...I can't take much more of this! I will let you know what he says after Monday. If I don't speak to you, have a nice weekend and less pain. <hugs> Lori
Guest guest
Ginny, I never had problems with Claustrephobic until I had my first Closed MRI either.....and then I Had the worst Anxiety Attack I've ever had in my life ............ The first one I ever had too. So, thanks to that MRI, I've had Anxiety Attacks ever since for the past year now. I just had one a few months ago and had to ask for a sleeping pill before I could even go near the machine..... So, maybe if you call ahead and ask them for something to relax you during the MRI, they'll give you a Valium to help you out. Good luck, and I hope that the test comes back negative! Tonia -------Original Message------- Hi all, Had my MRI scheduled for this eveing to see if I had a herniated disc in my neck and to rule in or out MS. Got to the MRI place at 6pm and found out the dr that was going to do the injection for the MRI had left for the evening. So they did the MRI for the neck..and rescheduled me for the MRI to rule in or out MS for next Fri. That was a little frustrating. I never was closterphobic in my entire life and had a couple of MRI's in the past...during the MRI itself I was fine...but when she told me she was going to check and make sure all the films came out clear and left the room...I panicked...I had heart palpatations..sweating..hyperventalated...until she got me out. Now I am even more unhappy about going for the other part of my MRI next week. By the time I got home I was so sore from stiffening up when I got anxious in the MRI and had a killer headache and was nauseas. I hope chat went well tonight...and wish I could have! been on tonight. Hope everyone has a good weekend...if I don't talk to you....Hugs...Ginny ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here
Guest guest
> So sorry to hear Ginny that the MRI didnt go smoothly. Miscommunicaton probably but still thats not fair to make you go thru it twice. Take care of yourself today so you dont make the pain any worse if possible.
