Our thoughts & prayers are very, very much with you as you travel to 2's tonight, and also with 2 and her entire family. There are 3 Scripture verses that have helped me tremendously and I hope they will help you also: " Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. " " Be still and know that I am God. " " Peace. My grace is sufficient for thee. " Sending you a big hug, Carolyn B. in SC Quote
Guest guest Posted January 6, 2006 Report Posted January 6, 2006 This is so sad. Just a couple of months ago we were trying to reassure about her CA19-9 numbers (message number 78474 and following). I pray that will find peace. Dave R. Quote
Guest guest Posted January 6, 2006 Report Posted January 6, 2006 God be with you , have a safe trip and I hope you can bring some comfort to and her family.I pray for a miracle. The fight goes on, in her name , Josh's and Bills and in the name of all our other struggling members. In the future we have to make a difference, together I know we can make a difference.Hold on ,Lee Dear All, It is with great sadness that I send this email, but I thought it important that you know. I spoke with M2's daughter this afternoon and the doctor's are only giving until Sunday. The did an ERCP on her a couple of days ago, replacing stents and she was full of infection. The infection then spread to her blood stream, her kidneys are barely functioning and her oxygen levels are not good. They are keeping her heavily sedated, but , her daughter said she has asked about me many times. I, and my best friend, Jay, are leaving tonight for Dallas. Please pray that God brings her comfort, and surrounds her with as much love as one heart can hold! I will not be taking my laptop with me, but I will write as soon as I am able to let you know her status. Thanks to all of you who have prayed for this wonderful friend of mine - my gift from God! Love, the 1st Quote
Guest guest Posted January 6, 2006 Report Posted January 6, 2006 Dear , I am sorry to hear that 2 is in such serious condition. Someone as lovely as she deserves all of life's richest blessings. I will be praying for a miracle. May she and her family find peace. If you need a shoulder to cry on, we are always here for you. Have a safe trip and please tell her we are all thinking of her and send our love. Joanne (mom of Todd) Quote
Guest guest Posted January 6, 2006 Report Posted January 6, 2006 Dear , Our thoughts go out to you as you suffer with the decline of 's health. It is difficult at times to visit with our PSC Family here at our web site. We have, as of late, seen so many in such distressing states of health. Sometimes I think reading all the posts is bad for my mental health. However, I always seem to push away from the computer feeling blessed that so many people I barely know care so much about what happens to me. And that is how it is with you and (2). We care so much for you both and know that your being with her will bring and her family a great deal of comfort. Please go to Dallas for all of us and let the family know they are in our prayers. You certainly caught my feelings exactly, and I suspect that's true for the vast majority of this group. Thank you. Regards, Carolyn B. in SC Quote
Guest guest Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 Tim, I am with Carolyn...I told Jay that so often your emails get to my heart and this was no exception...you summed it up wonderfully well.
