I'd like to add: Our DMSA dosage was 25mgX6=150mg/day. My son is 22kg.

Blood and urine levels are known to be irrelevant, see the recent

editions of standard medical texts like Cecil's and on's.

Challenge tests are really not diagnostically useful or relevant

either.

The hair test shows nice orderly mineral transport, suggesting that the

toxic elements may well represtend what is going on, and

> arsenic 0.24 <0.08 RED

but even more especially

> lead 6 <1 RED

are the kinds of results that suggest chelation may well be very

helpful.

Dear Andy,

Thanks so much for yr reply.

Do you mean to say that blood and urine tests are useless and not

necessary any more? Then from where lead ,arsenic and so on are

coming out? What do the high levels of Mg, Zinc,Rb in the 3rd round

urine test imply? Does this mean many minerals are chelated out by

DMSA instead of our targeted heavy metals like lead and arsenic? Is

it possible that our targeted lead and arsenic can not be easily

chelated,or can be chelated but after the good trace minerals?

Sorry for so many questions. But I have to persuade other family

members. They are worrying about side effects.

Looking forward to yr help.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I would like to comment on a

different issue. I am not sure, that DMSA will chelate arsenic. I always thought

you need ALA for this.

Dagmar.

yes, based on the lead and arsenic on this hair test, chelation

with DMSA and ALA is likely to be beneficial.

based on hair test, not based on what is coming out.
