Rob: I have had mine since March 15th and I can honestly say it has helped. I have had problems adjusting the frequency, etc. and some minor issues but I will never regret havin the implant. The temporary was left in for three or four days and that was worse than the real thing but they want to make sure it will help with the pain so it is not completely implanted. Mine is implanted and as the doc told me last week it will go wherever I go from now on. I try to conserve energy and we have it on a cycle on/off and I try to sleep with it off when I can to also save energy. The battery inside the SCS has to be replaced and it is supposingly a relatively minor surgery where they make an incision and replace the old battery. I want to hang on to this one as long as I can. If you have any other questions. Feel free to write either at ducote55@... or ducotedm@.... I know some people

have not gotten the relief that I have but I am so thankful for the SCS. I won't say that the pain is completely gone and I don't have bad days but they are easier to control.

Good Luck,

DebDog

Rob,

I would be more than happy to talk with you about the SCS and the processes of having the surgeries. Just let me know what questions you might have. I am just one of the many here that have had this done and for me personally it is the best thing!
