Guest guest
Donna, I get these every night where my arms tingle like they are waking up. Doc told me it was because nerve was being pinched and moving to another position took the pressure off. Did you get your injections in a row like once a week? I had that done on my hip and had to wait 6 months before next session. Take care and I insist that you have a good weekend. Laurie

Doc told me it was because nerve was being pinched and moving to another position took the pressure off. By moving my arm off the infllicting vibration it would stop, but its never happened before and it drives me batty lol. Did you get your injections in a row like once a week? I had 2 then had to wait approval for the following 3 but they were done in weekly sessions. This will be my 5th one. I dont see that it has done alot except minimize the pain and decrease the swelling a bit, the temp is fairly normal too..so in retrospect I suppose its helping in some areas it is just not ridding me of the burning or the general achiness and weariness and weakness Take care and I insist that you have a good weekend. Guest guest
> > > Just remember....it takes 2-3 days for a block to actually start working > from the time that the doctor first does it! I feel ok after this last one, it did take a few days for it to kick in, so the pain level is minimal for the most part, just general stiffness and still the ever increasing burn. Seems everytime he does one though the burning travels a little further, it started in my left ribcage area, traveled across my back after the second injection of the 3 and then into right shoulder at times since this last one. Now the tingling...ugh! This coming Tuesday is my last one for awhile I think, so lets see what this one does. lol Hugs Donna
Guest guest
Donna, Sometimes I wonder if it's just the Medicine working that causes the burning, instead of the RSD.......? It's weird.... Mine is somewhat helping a little bit. My hip hurts like hell, but at least the severe pain in my calf and knee isn't as bad as it was. When I went in, the pain was at a 10, and right now it's down to about a 7 which is very good for me, because I hardly can ever get my pain below an 8 no matter what I do. Plus, I can feel the heat in the arch/heel of my foot.....and that is something I haven't felt in over 2 years now! I think I finally found a block that might actually help me more than the rest.... Good luck with your last one...I hope that it helps you out some.
